Day Zero Project: 1. Learn how to play Bezique, TICK

What, you may well ask, is Bezique? As I did when this was suggested by Mr B.  Wikipedia says....

Bezique is a 19th-century French melding and trick-taking card game for two players derived fromMarriage via Briscan by the addition of more scoring features, notably the peculiar liaison of Q and J, under the names B├ęsigueBinokelPinochle, etc., according to the country. thats clear now then?  What on earth?

Listography: Things I Did This Summer

It's me, W, you know, the pretty one.  Having defeated Daddy, see 'Saturday is Caption Day' for proof, I have now defeated Mummy and taken over her blog....hee hee.  So never mind her, my summer was much more interesting.  Here is how it went...

I met both of my cousins....they're so cool!

And then even more of my family at my Christening....

Learnt to drive...

Went to Legoland...
And finally.....defeated Teddy....

Saturday is Caption Day!

Over at Mammasauras' blog a new meme is on the loose.  Saturday is the new...well, caption day.  Here is my piccie so please join in and give it a fitting caption.  Go know you want to!  Please just add to comment boxes below and give us a giggle.

Belly-busting countdown.....16 days left

Thursday again....

So far have been really good for one week, lost 1lb.  Have been really bad for one week, lost 1lb.  This week I was partly good, partly bad and, you guessed it...lost 1lb.  Not that I'm complaining, well am a bit, but a loss is still a loss just wish it was happening at triple the speed.

Will be on the beach in 16 days.  Not looking hopeful for bikini wear.

This week I am mostly hoping for a short sharp bout of food-poisoning.

Day Zero Project

Fellow Mummy blogger Love in the Nest has recently started a 'Day Zero Project'.  This involves listing 101 things that you wish to accomplish in the next 1001 days.  Number 13 on her list was to inspire someone else to start their own.  She can now tick this one off!

I started writing my list 3 days ago and have finally finished.  Although I began feeling a bit nervous at the enormity of the challenge, nerves have finally given way to excitement and now can't wait to start ticking them off.

I will be blogging my progress along the way and will be linking up to my Day Zero Project page, where you can take a sneaky peek at the list in its entirety.

Wish me luck.....the countdown has already begun!
